Journey in Tamasha...

Tamasha has been a journey for everyone who joined the league. For Awais Javed, Director Photography Coverage, its from 'Ground floor to third floor & third floor to ground floor', for TRK, it's the reminder of 'fun' journey our team covered and faced accident on Oct 2, 2010 and Sir. Hassan Kayani, Our Faculty Mentor, relates by saying ' Hota hai shaboo rooz Tamasha-2011 meray aagay!' but for rest of other team members, it's a revolutionary journey which brought changes in their personality.

While I described my journey as : Tamasha-Journey and Samar Waqar, Co-Founder Jaagoo, explained her caravan as : Tamasha beautifully, our other team members came with touching answers too.

Momal Mushtaq, Head E-marketing, started her journey in Tamasha as a participant. She explains as 'When I began working on Tamasha, I’d no particular affiliation with it, if excluded the fact that some of my beautiful memories are associated with “Tamasha 2010”. However, with time, I literally fell in love with the concept behind this event. Due to my million commitments, I couldn’t give “Tamasha 2011” the best of Mo, but yes, whatever I did, I did it with the purity of heart! I love being a part of it all and I hope the event goes well – way beyond the host team’s expectations! :)'

Ghazi Aitazaz, Head Sham-e-Charaghan, shared his experience beautifully in the post : Good things matter!

Ahmed Favad Bhatti, Executive member of Tamasha, shares his journey by telling 'Journey In Tamasha!! Full of FUN, EXCITEMENT, and Little bit of DRAMA. NOW that i look upon the past ,its been a long climb. But all the more worth it!! A legacy worth all the time and effort. After 5 years i believe i would see TAMASHA and proudly say. "Yes this is something me and my friends started". All hail TAMASHA..............I hope and believe that every new batch will bring some new ideas to the TAMASHA legacy and fuel the fire that we have started!!

Taimur Riaz Khan, One of special members of Tamasha, says, ' I
ts was not long ago when i heard the name of an event Named tamasha was goin to take place in our univ .. and i was like
TAMASHA .. seriously !! .. tamasha 2010 team was workin on it and i was busy with my randoms , it got delayed , but
then came the time where i myself had to say people hats of to you and that time was the happening of tamasha 2010 only i knew at that time what i had missed to be a part of , somthin bigger then any individual. perhaps the biggest regrets that i have is that i was not a part of tamasha 2010 , but then as the time progressed i heard that 20Eleven is happening. This was the opertunity i jumped on and perhaps i couldent miss to be a part of it , now i am here and im a proud member of team tamasha... and we are here for a change a change that this country demands from its youth a change that will redefine history...
We are here to Rebrand Pakistan... And we are Team TAMASHA'

Tayyaba Farooq, Executive member of Tamasha, tells, 'In the begining... it was a cause.. an inspiration .. But it has now become a family.. a part of me!'

Sana Shakeel, Head Declamation, explains as '
Admist the crowd of people full of despair and fear i look upon the beam of light coming from the top floor of FAST-NU islamabad. On stepping in the room labeled "Tamasha office" i was perplexed to find people working on a mission, their voices so strong to bring a paradigm shift to the colossal chaos dat surrounds us all, to bring a change under one flag, that defines a united youth working for a common cause.'

Uniting the steps of youth in journey of life...

And last by but no means least, I would like to share a journey of someone, who has been MY inspirational beacon. She has been 'behind' the curtains of Tamasha by being 'my' support.
She, Imama Hameed, describes as 'No matter how much things change, at times we observe them still remain the same. This axiom is specially a bitter fact for Pakistan, as we can see from our history. No matter how far we have been travelling in the past; at the end we find that we have come back to the same point that we had started from, and have to begin all over again.

It was thoughts like this that led me to get indirectly affiliated with Tamasha a year back. Like so many ordinary Pakistanis taking breaths on this motherland, I too was doing the same until I got attached with this event quietly on someone's naïve desire and since then, I am not out of a fervent hypnotism of awakening and understanding without being a functioning component of this event.

I read it somewhere that every human has four endowments- self awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagination. These give us the ultimate human freedom and power of making choice, responding, and then changing the things in the way we want. Unfortunately, in Pakistan we have rarely seen our people and specially the young generation making any positive use of the gifts given to humanity by Allah, thus the chaos seems fated. Whole the last year and by being almost a thousand miles away, I kept on noticing few of the vigorous beings leaving no stone unturned during this voyage to make the dead minds alive by each and every mean, which undoubtedly and ultimately led them to see a destined triumph. Whilst going through the written initials of Tamasha, I, as a third party never knew that someday Tamasha team would be able to give a massive move to young society of Pakistan. The full-fledge involvement of the students of all the leading institutes of Pakistan was the neatest example to know that ground-breaking change is not too far. With chaos, depression and sense of being lost gripping the youth of our nation, it was heartening to see youngsters coming forward with passion and having enough of courage to not only participate but to keep the zeal alive for the betterment and building of a new Pakistan. Tamasha'09 was finally able to create a ray of hope and it really carried the idea to its destination. To invoke, to change and. . To do. Anyway. But Tamasha was not ended there.

Another year, some new circumstances and some more chaos. The time comes again.

No matter what your style of wanting the change is -- whether it's strong and unwavering or questioning but solid, you will find something in Tamasha to strengthen and uplift you. For all the people who are reading this, I will just ask you to utilize all of your capabilities, recollect your passions and be a part of change. Change, that is inevitable. For you and your own, very one native land.

Keep moving.'

So if you've not yet become part of Tamasha, what are you waiting for?
Will you not wish to join YOUR journey with OUR journey?

I look forward to more journeys in replies :)

Regards,
Hira Zainab.
